Another unforgettable session in the books! Chryssie is a thirty-something who usually sticks to her routine. But, she stepped a little outside her comfort zone when she booked a boudoir session as a gift for her husband. What started as a present for someone else quickly became something much more. Her session was an empowering, eye-opening experience for her. She walked away realizing that boudoir isn’t just a gift for a partner. It’s truly an investment in yourself.
I had the best time chatting and working with this gorgeous woman. My amazing makeup artist had her looking absolutely flawless, and I styled her hair myself (yep, I’m a licensed cosmetologist—jack of all trades over here!). She had the most incredible, thick hair, and I loved flipping it from side to side to bring some extra magic to her photos.
After every session, I send out a little post-shoot questionnaire—it’s such a meaningful way to hear how each woman felt about their experience. I’m thrilled that Chryssie had such a positive one. I know I absolutely loved working with her!

I loved all the work on Sarah’s website, I knew even with my little insecurities that the photos would come out wonderful. Sarah is so talented.
Did I have a favorite part to my session? Truthfully everything, Sarah is so welcoming and I felt comfortable right away. The chit chat between all 3 of us (Me, Sarah and the makeup artist) while I was getting make up done made me calm down and relax before my session. After seeing the photos I’ve felt more confident, I can see my flaws and can now see the beauty in them. All the things my husband see and loves me for.”
