Jamie is a 38 year old momma with two amazing kids.  Her daughter is 8 years old and her son 9 years old.  They are what you call Irish Twins, born just 363 days apart!  She loves telling everyone how she came home with her daughter on her son’s first birthday. For the last 10 years she has worked as a professional event and wedding planner. She loves hockey, podcasts, paranormal stuff and enjoys standup comedy.

With many of my sessions, I like to ask these gorgeous ladies a few questions about their session.  Personally, I think hearing about a session right from the client helps to put new potential clients nerves at ease.  It’s nice to see how these women felt about their session after the fact.  Truly, I enjoyed working with Jamie and just loved our chats during her session.  I’m glad that she enjoyed her experience and that she will have these beautiful images for years to come.  I know, she initially booked this session as an anniversary gift.  But, I’m certain that in the end this gift turned out to be so much more for her than she ever could have realized!

Here’s some words from Jamie herself.

Why did you choose to do a boudoir session?

‘I had my 10 year wedding anniversary in Sept 2023 and wanted to feel sexy in my skin again.”

Going into the shoot were you worried or scared about anything?

“Truly I was worried I’d be too hard on myself and hate the results. I never think what I see in the mirror translate in photos of myself.”

Why would you recommend booking with Sarah?

“There arent a lot of opportunities to feel sexy, powerful, like a model and the center of attention in life as we get older. I enjoyed myself and how I felt and how Sarah did not make me feel I was just posing for a camera.”

What was your favorite part of your session?

“Sarah choosing the outfits based on what she thought would look best with my body and vibe and seeing how creative she can be in all of the different space setups.”

Have you noticed any changes in yourself after your session?

“I don’t feel like “just a mom” anymore. I feel like the young, vibrant, confident me is still in there. Sarah found her and brought her to the forefront . I saw a sparkle in my eye – even if it was just Sarah’s photoshopping skills ;-)”

Enjoy a few photos from her session. And while you are here check out my blog post Why Self Care Isn’t Selfish.
