To say I’m thrilled with how the Rain Room Set came out is an understatement. In the past, I had utilized a rental studio in Chicago for these kind of sessions. Because of remodeling, they’ve been closed for over a year now. I just couldn’t wait any longer so I decided why not make my own set? I’m so glad I took a chance and made my own.
With a little bit or trial and error, the set came out beautifully. I love how the neon lights add just a pop of color and loved the white light behind the subject. The brilliant rain drops just created even more magic.
We learned a lot when putting this Rain Room Set together as well. I think we changed the “rain” 4 different times til I came up with a spray that I was happy with. And, I might change it again for next year.
Rain Room Sessions
For two months this summer the set was up and in use. The set is discontinued for another year. So many gorgeous women had the chance to get in on rain room sessions this past summer. I even had a couple’s session with their motorcycle. That might be my favorite session this past summer. If all goes as planned, I hope to bring back this set each summer for 1 month only. Kind of like a limited edition type set. Each year, the set will be tweaked a little bit creating a little bit of a different set. This year the Rain Room Set was only available for mini sessions. Currently, I’m undecided how I will utilize the set next year. For sure, I’ll offer mini sessions again. But, I might consider doing it as an add on for full sessions as well.
