Sadie is a beautiful 38 year old, first time mom to be in May! She lives in Chicago with her husband and black lab puppy. In just a few short weeks they will be welcoming their baby boy to the family. This is something they are all looking forward to. Her sweet pup is so good with kids and babies and she can’t wait to watch him be a big brother!
Sadie chose to do a boudoir session because she wanted to do something totally different and get out of my comfort zone a bit. It was a great way to capture her body with the changes pregnancy has brought. In addition, she will have these images to look back on in the future. Truly, pregnancy is so beautiful and the human body really is capable of amazing things.
With most of my sessions I like to ask some questions so you can hear from the client herself. Here is a little bit from Sadie herself.
Were you nervous going into your session?
“I was a little nervous to pose nude. But, Sarah will show you exactly what to do in the photo shoot so you can relax and enjoy each pose.”
What was your favorite part of your session?
“I loved that Sarah had so many different settings in her studio without us having to leave. It made changing outfits and “scenes” really easy. Since my session I have felt really confident and honestly, quite beautiful since the photo shoot and seeing how she captured me.”
Maternity boudoir is my favorite type of session to photograph. There’s something incredibly beautiful in photographing the changes that a woman’s body goes through when pregnant. My absolutely favorite set for maternity boudoir is artful nudes. The silhouetted light and shadows just enhances and shows off that beautiful belly perfectly. Truly, it is art for your walls.
Thrilled is an understatement as to how I feel when a potential client reaches out for maternity boudoir. Needless to say, I’m so happy that Sadie had this opportunity to see her body in a new light. I wish her the very best and can’t wait for her to meet her little baby boy.
