This young lady is a proud plus sized 21 year old woman. She has been on a personal journey to loving herself. Cecelia loves to try new things and to put herself out there! I just love that she invested in herself and dis a boudoir session. With a pre session payment plan she was able to slowly pay for her Collection over time. This made doing a boudoir session possible for this beauty.
I loved working with Cecelia and asked her some questions about her session. Here’s what she had to say…
Why did you choose to do a boudoir session?
“I chose boudoir because I have had such a love hate relationship with my body and I had finally reached a point where I was confident with my body. I wanted to show my body off with every curve,mark or imperfection I had. Boudoir is such an empowering and personal thing to do and I’m so glad I did it for myself and as a small birthday present for me.”
Going into the shoot were you worried or scared about anything?
“I was a little scared about if I would look okay or if I would even be okay with being vulnerable in front someone let alone a camera. I eventually was very comfortable and just didn’t have a care in the world when it actually came down to it.”
Why would you suggest booking with Sarah?
“Sarah was very inviting and super understanding about anything I had questions about . We got to know each other a little bit before we began which made the atmosphere so comfortable. She knows exactly what she is doing and had such amazing photos of me that were taken during our shoot. “
Did you have a favorite part of your session?
“My favorite part of the session was probably posing in all the different spots and looking at the camera. I felt on top of the world. I had so much confidence and Sarah really helped to reassure me when doing certain poses or angles. Since my session I am super confident with my body. I love myself more than I ever have. The photoshoot made me feel like the most beautiful woman in the world. It was super fun to experience and It made me feel like I could really do anything in this world.”
Working with Cecelia was such a joy. It was refreshing to see a young 21 year old woman working on her self love. I know so many women in their 40’s and beyond that are still working and trying to learn to accept their bodies. It can take many women years to learn to accept their bodies as they are. I’m so incredibly proud of Cecelia for working on herself now. There’s no doubt that this will make her a happier woman in the long run. And I can just imagine all the other women she will touch by putting herself out there like she has. There’s a ripple affect and I know this is a positive one!
