Ashley is a bright and beautiful 28 year old woman from Lockport IL. Her boyfriend and her are just a year away from being high school sweethearts. Having met him just a year after high school was good as it was a year for self growth. Her family and friends mean the world to her. Yes, that includes her fur babies! She loves nature and is a total sucker for mountains. Truly, she believes they are one of the most beautiful things. Ashley is also into cars, anything that sounds and looks good will have her full attention. It’s just who she is!
As with all of many of my sessions I like to ask these ladies some questions about their recent boudoir session.
Ashley, why did you choose to do a boudoir session?
“I had a few reasons. The main reason was for myself, I’ve always hated the way I looked in photos. I wanted to do this to show myself that I’m beautiful and sexy exactly how I am and have these photos to keep as a constant reminder to myself. I always wished I could see myself through other peoples eyes and these photos do just that for me. The other reason was that I want to give my future husband this as a gift at our wedding someday. It’s definitely something out of my comfort zone and something I don’t think he would expect me to go and do but I know he will absolutely love it.”
Were you scared or worried about anything prior to your shoot?
“I was worried about absolutely everything, and when I say everything I mean everything…… I felt like I needed to make sure that everything was in order. Fresh hair cut/color, nails, wax, lashes, eyebrows, and everything under the sun. You would think it was my wedding day with everything I felt like I need to get done before my shoot. So from me stressing so much, I tensed up so bad I started worrying that it was going to show in my photos, then as soon as I got there all my stress, and worries just disappeared because Sarah is absolutely amazing and I was over thinking everything. Hell, I have another shoot this weekend that I might not even shave for because I know she’ll have me covered.”
Is there a reason you booked your session specifically with Sarah?
“There isn’t just one reason, there’s a million. She is amazing at what she does, she’s so easy to talk to and the studio is gorgeous. The photos she takes are stunning, they are natural and pretty but sexy at the same time. She makes the entire experience so enjoyable and I would recommend her a million times over. “
What was your favorite part of your session?
“This is a hard one, because the entire shoot itself was my favorite. It was so much fun and I just remember thinking right after I left that I can’t wait for my next one. Since my session, I’ve noticed my confidence has changed. I’m wearing outfits I never felt confident enough to wear out but always wanted to! I’m really starting to feel good in my own skin, and I’m not as hard on myself as I used to be!”
