The story behind Bare Moxie is inspiring . It all started with two good friends, Sonja and JoAnn, who couldn’t ignore the chorus of complaints from many of their women friends about uncomfortable bras. Determined to make a change, they went to New York to become a certified bra fitting experts. And the rest, is history. Together, Sonja and JoAnn, have created a space where every woman can feel confident and supported—literally. Their goal is to help all women find great fitting bras!
I originally met Sonja a few years back when she booked a beach boudoir session with me. I just love how uplifting and confident she is. She is incredibly body positive and when I found out she co-owned a bra boutique I just new I needed to check it out. Immediately, I brought my daughter in for a fitting as I know the importance of a well fitting bra.

Bare Moxie has you covered, quite literally, with band sizes ranging from 28 to 54 inches and cup sizes from pre-teen to O in store. And if you’re one of those hard-to-fit sizes, they’ll happily place a special order just for you. They can special order sizes up to a size R. Because let’s face it, no two bodies are alike, and finding the right fit can be life-changing.
According to Sonja, the average cup size is far from what you’ll find on the racks of big box stores. She says the average cup size is much closer to a G or H! That’s why they recommend a yearly fitting—our bodies are constantly evolving, and our bras should too.
